Why does gta 4 crash so much

Its a damn good card! I need help ais. Try reinstalling? The same thing is happening to me but I have many mods installed, not huge mods but car mods, but anyways I know if you have cars set to replace the noose cars and FIB car it crashes, the same error your getting or it might be that some files are missing that was my last crash issue like when you change the textures of the game in anyway such as blood or more traffic is what I mean, that was the reason why mine was crashing every now and then also same error GTA IV is not responding so I would just suggest verifying the game cache to see if any files are missing.
